We have a full range of tours available. We can arrange a private guided tour around Marrakech or we can organise day trips outside Marrakech, bringing you back to your hotel in time for dinner.
Alternatively, if you want to stay away longer we can arrange that too. We also have trekking tours if you want to really get away from it all.
Please go to our Tours page for information.
If you are interested in a particular visit or tour that is not included, please let us know and we would be happy to discuss this with you
No visit to Marrakech is complete without a little or perhaps a lot of shopping. The shopkeepers are ready to sell, sell, sell. Part of the joy can be haggling the price before you get to a price that suits you and the shopkeeper. Do haggle hard but remember that he has to make a living too, and let him have a little profit. If there is one rule about haggling, you need to consider the price that you are willing to pay, and start with less than that. Often you might both laugh at the price and even walk away. In the end, you might come to an agreement and both be happy with the price. It can get a little wearing as it may be something you are not used to but it is part of their culture and part of the fun too.
There are many shops around the souks and good bargains to be found. It is worth mentioning that Marrakech also has a modern area, known as Guilez. In this area, there are well-known shops, e.g. Louis Vuitton etc.
What can you buy? Morocco has excellent leather goods, marquetry as well as jewellery and pottery. There is also an abundance of spices and oils (e.g. Saffron, Argan oil and Olive oil) to choose from.
There is food everywhere in Morocco. Ranging from feasts at 5* hotels to street vendors selling bread and kebabs.
There are many restaurants around Jemma El Fna square. Specialities include tagine, couscous, bessara soup, harira soup as well as Moroccan pastries. The orange juice from the stalls around the square is also delicious and the various types of Moroccan bread are very tasty.
Marrakech is probably the most exciting city at night. Everyone congregates around Jemma El Fna square and enjoys the street entertainers and musicians.
You can also spend the evening at Fantasia, Chez Ali just outside Marrakech and enjoy an evening of live entertainment plus dinner. Please see our Activities for details.
There are also bars, nightclubs and discos in some of the larger western hotels as well as casinos in Hivernage area of Marrakech, one of the newest parts of Marrakech.
