Quad biking in Agafay desert
A 2-hour guided quad biking experience in the arid and rocky terrain of the Agafay Desert

Itinerary
Total time around 4 to 5 hours
This is a private tour for the day. You will be picked up from your central hotel in Marrakech around 9:00 a.m. and take a 45/50 min drive outside Marrakech to the area known as Agafay.
After instructions and safety briefing, you will follow the stone tracks of the desert of Agafay for a 2-hour ride. This is a particularly arid and rocky terrain.
It will certainly feel like a lunar landscape but occasionally passing through small villages in the area. You will enjoy many types of terrain during your ride around the countryside – hills and rocky desert as well as enjoying panoramic views of the Atlas mountains. You can also enjoy a cup of mint tea.
After your quad biking, you will then be ready to take your camel for a 1 hour camel ride in the surrounding area. On your return to the camp, lunch will e ready for you and you can enjoy lunch and relax in the sunshine after your activities. After a short rest, your vehicle will take you back to Marrakech. You should arrive around 4 p.m. .

After Quad biking you will then have a one hour camel ride around the area.
Then enjoy a well earned lunch in the sunshine.
Before booking and before you go, please be aware of the following:
- Cost includes transfer to and from your central hotel or Riad in Marrakech;
- If yous select Option 1, you will be joining other people on the day and this cost includes 2 people on each quad bike;
- Option 1 trip sets off from central Marrakech each day at either 9:00 a.m. or 2:30 p.m.;
- There is also a Private Tour available (Option 2) which includes each person having their own quad bike, one-hour camel ride, lunch and private transport
- If you have a large group this can be arranged as a private excursion. Please contact us for more details;
- You will be under the supervision of professional guides;
- On the day, your instructor will give you a short safety briefing as well as a lesson on how to control and drive your quad. You will then follow your guide as they take you around the route. Helmets will be provided;
- Ensure that you wear closed trainers/shoes – no sandals and you should also have adequate clothing e.g. warm clothes in the colder months;
- It is not necessary to hold a current driver’s licence but you must be over 18 years old.
- Those under 18 can ride as a passenger. However, those under 16 years of age require parental permission from at least one parent, by completing a waiver and discharge form;
- If you have back or neck problems you should consider whether or not you should participate in this activity;
- If you are pregnant, you should not take part;
- You should ensure that your personal holiday insurance covers this activity.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel in advance with at least 72 hours before the morning of your activity a full refund is available. If less than 3 days then no refund is payable. Please refer to the Booking Terms & Conditions for full details.
Cancellations received with less than 72 hours notification in writing will not be eligible for a refund.
