Itinerary 

Leave Marrakech at 08:00 to travel to Essaouira. Essaouira is a city port on the Atlantic coast. It has approximately 70,000 inhabitants. 

It takes around 3 hours to drive from Marrakech to Essaouira. However, there will be a stop or two along the way to Essaouira, giving you the opportunity to take some photos, particularly of the Argan trees. Argan trees are native only to Morocco - nowhere else in the world has these species of trees.

On arrival at to Essaouira, you will have free time, around 4 hours. This will give you a chance to visit, for example, the small Medina, the port, the beach and the Jewish quarter.

Essaouira is a fishing port and famous for its fish. So why not have some freshly caught fish for lunch, lie on the beach or go swimming. 

Return to Marrakech should be around 18.30.

Before booking and before you go, please read the notes below

These are simple tours providing transport. You will be joining a Group Tour with others and this will give you an opportunity to see the sights and perhaps meet some new friends. You will be picked up at your hotel, or meet at Jemma El Fna square (depends on hotel location).  

On your return to Marrakech you will be dropped off either near your hotel, if the hotel is en route back to Jemma El Fna, or at Jemma El Fna itself.
