Buggy Riding in Agafay desert
This is a private tour and includes a 2-hour guided buggy riding experience in the arid and rocky terrain of the Agafay Desert, along with a camel ride and lunch
Itinerary
Total time around 4 to 5 hours
This is a Private Tour and you will be picked up from your central hotel in Marrakech at an agreed time and then take a 45 min drive outside Marrakech to the area known as Agafay.
After instructions and safety briefing, you will follow the stone tracks of the desert of Agafay for a 2-hour ride. This is a particularly arid and rocky terrain.
It will certainly feel like a lunar landscape but occasionally passing through small villages in the area. You will enjoy many types of terrain during your ride around the countryside – hills and rocky desert as well as enjoying panoramic views of the Atlas mountains. You can also enjoy a cup of mint tea.
This experience also includes Camel riding and lunch. Private transport would take you to and from the desert camp.

Before booking and before you go, please be aware of the following:

- Each buggy can take up to 2 riders;
- You will be under the supervision of professional guides;
- On the day, your instructor will give you a short safety briefing as well as a lesson on how to control and drive your buggy. You will then follow your guide as they take you around the route. Helmets will be provided;
- Ensure that you wear closed trainers/shoes – no sandals and you should also have adequate clothing e.g. warm clothes in the colder months;
- It is not necessary to hold a current driver’s licence but you must be over 18 years old. Those under 18 can ride as a passenger. However, those under 16 years of age require parental permission from at least one parent, by completing a waiver and discharge form;
- If you have back or neck problems you should consider whether or not you should participate in this activity;
- If you are pregnant, you should not take part;
- You should ensure that your personal holiday insurance covers this activity.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel in advance with at least 72 hours before the morning of your activity a full refund is available. If less than 3 days then no refund is payable. Please refer to the Booking Terms & Conditions for full details.
Cancellations received with less than 72 hours notification in writing will not be eligible for a refund.
